The Fair ¨C Events & Magazines (FEM) is one of China's leading luxury lifestyle platforms organizing luxury lifestyle events in Shanghai and publishing The Fair Magazine throughout greater China. FEM cooperates with the world-renowned Millionaire group. Publishing company Gijrath Media Groep BV (GMG) introduced the idea of organizing the Millionaire Fair 8 years ago, with the aim of bringing together top names of the (international) luxury goods industry and the readers of the successful publication Millionaire Magazine's during an event with a theme closely related to the magazine:'The Luxury Lifestyle'. Since then the Millionaire Fair became a landmark in the luxury event calendars. Based on the initiative of The Netherlands, the luxury lifestyle fairs and magazines followed this success in Russia, France, Belgium, Dubai, India, Germany and China, where it was introduced in April 2006 and is now called "The Fair".
The Fair has often been described as a lifestyle event somewhere between the ultimate luxury shopping experience of London Harrods and the pure joy of Disneyland, which makes it an excellent platform for luxury brands to announce their entry into the China market or expand their target audience. "The Fair 2007 far surpassed its previous edition", was a frequently heard remark by our visitors. The Fair doubled in size, with approximately 150 luxury brands displaying their exclusive items to an audience of over 11,000 visitors from Greater China, Asia and overseas.
The Fair Magazine writes about people passionate for the luxury lifestyle. Stories cover brands differentiating themselves by their exclusivity and style, as well as trends in haute couture, fashion, luxury travel and arts & antiques. The Fair Magazine is published quarterly and one extra edition appears during The Fair of each year, in which all information on the exhibitors and entertainment program of the event is published.
